Shawn Brue, LMFT, LPC
Shawn received his BA Degree from the McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He received his Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy Degree from Abilene Christian University in 1992. Shawn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of clinical experience. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and an approved Supervisor for Licensed Professional Counseling and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy.

"I have been trained in Family Systems Theory, which sees the interaction between family members as very important for the health of the person and his/her family. My counseling is also very collaborative and strength based. This means that we will be working together on the way you would like your life to be. Your goals and hopes will be directing our work together. Woven through my counseling work is a very real component of Christian values and biblical teachings."

Shawn has been married to Krystal for 14 years. They have three children. Shawn is an Elder at Western Hills Christian Church. His hobbies include playing music, running and reading
