Dr. Wiley Davis, MD
Dr. Davis received his BS in Pharmacy in 1968 from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, OK. He received his MD degree from the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in 1978. He practiced general medicine until 1988 at which time he began full time work for the Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center, providing psychiatric medication coverage for their satellite clinics. He retired from Taliaferro in 2003. Dr. Davis has provided consultation and medical management services for the Christian Family Counseling Center since 1992.

"I specialize in the outpatient management of psychiatric medications to treat those patients requiring medication in addition to the counseling care offered through the Christian Family Counseling Center. I use an array of counseling techniques to assist patients, and to help guide them in the choice of medications to best fit their needs. I believe in using the lowest doses and the least number of medications possible for an individual’s problems, following accepted guidelines for the best medical management of various disorders. I involve each patient in the decision making processes of their own treatment with the goal of satisfactory improvement, if not the complete resolution of symptoms. I especially enjoy treating those with depressive disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders."

Dr. Davis has been married to Fondella for 45 years. They have three grown sons who have blessed them with many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Dr. Davis and Fondella are rearing a toddler nephew who is their pride and joy. They enjoy camping and fishing and look forward to doing more of these activities when he retires.
