Pastor’s Breakfast
The Christian Family Counseling Center recently hosted two Pastor’s Breakfasts at the Center where Glen Ryswyk and Charlie Baer spoke about the mental health challenges facing people in the Lawton area. More of these events will be offered in 2008 where Glen Ryswyk will address specific issues identified by the pastors. The focus of these events is to equip pastors for the challenges they face in helping people in their church.
Physician Education
Charlie Baer is presenting a brief educational presentation to physicians and their staff in physician offices. He is informing them of the significant mental health challenges faced by those living in Southwest Oklahoma.
Civic Clubs
Charlie Baer has been offering a power point presentation to local Civic Clubs. This presentation highlights some of the unexpected Top 10 categories that Oklahoma has unfortunately achieved this year. Mental health challenges that we face in Oklahoma along with emerging threats are explored in this presentation.
